How many times have you seen someone do things you wish you had done? Often, right? 

What's the big deal? 

Well, that's your dream turned into reality. The sad part - you were not involved in turning it into reality; someone else did! 

Aren't you tired of reading about famous people and how much they've accomplished while you never get anything done?

Am sure you are. So let's get down to business. 

What is a dream? 

A dream is that super duper speech --how you made it-- you wish to deliver to a large number of people one day (like Martin Luther King Jr, "I have a dream").

A dream is that your plan you have for the less privileged if only you had money.

A dream is that company you want to work in without answering to that boss (you wish to be the boss).

A dream is that lovely place you want to spend time with your family at every vacation.

A dream is that influence you wish you had.

A dream is that house you wish to build.

You got it, right? 

Let's move on...

This is the present reality!

»You have bills to pay. 

Rent, water, electricity, debts, etcetera.
(ouch! Reality hits you so bad.) 

»Your friends think you're crazy.

»Your family is poor.

»You are afraid.

»You lack experience.

»No one to help.

These are the demons waiting for you. They are the monsters that killed the brightest dreams ever known.

You want to feed nations but you don't have food to eat. 

You want to give to the poor but you need help yourself. 

You want to start a business but your friends constantly reminded you lack experience to do it.

Is it sounding more like you? 

If yes, that's good. Because am about to show you how to murder these monsters in cold blood!

Are you ready?

Let's turn your dream into reality. 

If you know you are not going to fail, what one thing would you try?

(Burst the bank and go away with a huge sum of money?) - don't try that!

I mean, what will make you fulfilled if only you know you will not fail? This is your dream and you have to make it happen. I won't lie to you that it will be easy but I will tell you the truth. It is possible. You can turn any dream you have into reality.

Here are some few(but sure) ways to murder the monster, called dream killer, in cold blood. 

Understand what your dreams are

There's a saying that no one can stop a man who truly knows where he is going to. Know what you want as your dream and you'll discover that it's a lot easier than assuming you have a dream. 

Write them down

I don't know what the science behind writing things down is, but I sure know it has helped me more than I can remember. Taking your time to write what you want gives you this sense of satisfaction and also sets you in motion. If you can write it down on paper, it shows a sign that you know what you want. It also creates a mental picture of the steps required to achieving your dream. 

Want it so bad like a kid who wants candy

There are so many lessons to be learnt from a kid who wants candy. Treat your dream like a kid would candy and see how transformed your life can be. 

1. He wants it now!
2. He wants it at all cost
3. He won't take no for an answer 
4. He leaves his mum with no choice but to get it. 
5. Once he has it, he guides jealously. 

Question yourself and learn

If I must be like this, what do I have to do? If I want to be better at this, how long do I have to practice? What do I need to get there? What should I do more or less? 

Curiosity is the mother of innovation. Man has found so many answers not by mistake, but because he questioned everything around him. 

Stop loafing around, question yourself and learn as much as you can. 

Create scenes that will constantly remind you of your dreams 

When you enter a church you are likely to see the following:

A picture of Jesus on the wall

An inscription that Jesus is Lord

Maybe another like God is good or pay your tithe... 

Do you know what that is? They are trying to create a mental image. Placing these words where you see them at every church service is not because they think you've forgotten. They just wanted to create a lasting impression in your mind.

Get a picture of your dream and place it where you can't miss to see it. Beside your mirror, beside you bed, in your office. Make it the wallpaper of your computers and phone. 

Walk towards achieving your dream daily 

One step at a time is better than taking no step at all. I've never seen a dream come to pass in just a day. It takes courage and persistence to get better at it. 

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. 

Remember this, dreams do not always come fully formed. Just a step at a time every day. And it will be revealed bit by bit.

Dreams are blueprints, a great masterpiece. They are useless except they are being constructed. Do something every day that will make your dream become a reality. You must always strive to achieve your dreams. Turning dream to reality is not a day job. Achieving your dream has to do with your total determination.

I don't care about other people's stories. It is time your own is told. So why not pick up the pen and write your own destiny. 

The grave is the richest place so far, with talents that were never used buried six feet beneath the soil. 

Don't die with your dreams. 

It is not enough to have a dream, you must wake up and chase reality

Make each day of your life count.

I know you have a dream, so wake up and chase reality.  I believe in you, I hope you believe in yourself?
