A POEM ABOUT FRIENDS

They are gifts we cannot buy.
Too expensive we cannot sell.
They are wings with which we fly.
Shoulders we lean upon when we cry.
Tears that flows from a heart's well.

They are voices that says don't worry.
They make us forget our hurts.
They are the humour in our stories.
They are our mourning glory.
Because they bring our sadness to a halt.

Even when they are away a thousand miles.
They are special no doubt.
A memory of them makes us smile.
Whenever this world tastes like limes.
They remain the only sweetness in our mouths.

They support our every goals.
They kick us to achieve all our dreams.
They are signs that guide us like a post.
They are maps for our souls.
So we can never miss our way like a stream.

What will life be without them?
They are the beauties of a sad day.
They are precious, indeed a rare gem.
Priceless are they the gift of men.
A beautiful ornament that beautify our faces.
