THE POWER OF ASSOCIATION. A LESSON LEARNT FROM THE ANTS

Indeed size does not matter when it comes to wisdom. This is certainly true of the lives of these tiny ants. No wonder the wisest man considered to have ever lived, king Solomon, took notice of these tiny but wise creatures.(proverbs 6:6) What makes this insect to be so special or what can be so unique about them?

This picture has been there on the wall of my room for some time now but I could not pick out anything from it. It was just a normal picture to me.

But I am Myrmecophobic, that is, an inexplicable fear of ants.

• Common phobia you probably don't know existed. 

I know this may sound strange, why am I scared of tiny ant you think. But that's not the point. What am trying to say is that the power that these tiny creatures seems to have when they come together in a large number is so amazing. Finally, that's the message I could not get from the image on the wall of my room all this while. Well, the key to it is teamwork -association.

The main secrete why these small ants seems to be but a great soldiers is in their power to come together and unite - the power of association!

Ants are known to carry things that are three times their body weight. Ant are known to float on water when they cluster together.  Ants are known to survive during the worst period and during scarcity. Ask me how they do it? It is through the power of association.

They are indeed a small insect as individuals but form a mighty warrior as a group. In their hive and holes they are well coordinated and have just the right administration all rightly fitted in a perfect association. The hives are maintained by the workers. And little eggs are also attended to by the workers. Protected by the soldiers, and the kings and queens ensure continuity through reproduction.
There is power in association and this little creature have mastered this art.

If we as humans will also learn to come together as a people under the same umbrella. No division, no schism, no discrimination and everything is done with orderliness, am sure this world will be a better place for every one of us.

Association is important but likewise we must learn to chose careful. Because being in the wrong company will in the long run be worse than being all alone. If you surround your self with the wrong type of people you are definitely not going anywhere yourself.

People with like passion, people who respects your dream and help you improve. People who sees the best in you and not someone that keeps pulling you down.  Find these people and learn to make a powerful team because there is great power in association.
